Blue *SC*'s Success Story
This sweet 3-legged boy was found in a very crowded shelter in South Carolina. We took one look at that sweet face and just had to help him. This sweet angel made a lasting impression on everyone who met him and drew a lot of attention and love from anyone who saw him.
Blue was very sick with several infections when he came to his foster home. With plenty of TLC, he recovered from all of his infections quickly and packed on a much needed 15 pounds. Blue loved spending his days gazing out of the window and going for walks. We knew he'd be the perfect companion for a very lucky person.
The lucky person came along! Blue lives in Richmond, VA with a young woman who loves him dearly. We are so happy Blue has a warm place to call his forever home now. Blue still spends his days gazing out the window and enjoying walks and also loves to spend time at the local dog park, where he plays with all of his friends.

Common misconceptions before adopting a dog: |
|
1. We’re getting Rex for the kids - they will do all the work.
Maybe for the first week or so, but most kids will slack
off soon enough and the responsibility will fall on your laps.
You are considered to be the owner because you are over the age
of 21. If your kids do not walk Rex, then it is up to you that
it gets done. As much as we talk to our kids about responsibility
and as much as they agree to care for your new dog, we all know
that sooner or later most kids will lose interest or get tired.
If you can positively answer these questions and concerns, then you may be
ready to adopt Rex.
