Pinky Tuscadero's Success Story
Little Pinky Tuscadero was found as a stray and ended up in a shelter without an adoption program. Underdog ResQ took her under its wings in January of 2009 until she found her new loving family in April of 2009. Pinky now lives with a wonderful couple, their new baby and a wonderful male pittie companion.

Here is a note from Pinky's new family (now called Penny):
Penny (AKA Pinky) has been a gre at addition to our family. She loves life and always makes us smile no ma tter what kind of day we are having. Penny and Otis (our 5 year old Pitbu ll) have become best buds and do everything together. Their favorite thin gs are chasing critters in our fenced in back yard and cuddling on the co uch. Since we have adopted Penny our daughter has entered our life. We ha d no fear about Penny and Delaney because her foster-family included trip let-toddlers and a seven year old, whom she was great with.

We’re so glad that we decided to get a second dog, and that it turned out to be Penny. Delaney loves to watch Penny and Otis and can t wait to explore and play with them. We look forward to all the fu n they’re going to have, and the wonderful memories they’ ll make.

Thank you Underdog ResQ for saving and caring for Penny until we found her!

 Common misconceptions
 before adopting a dog:
1. We’re getting Rex for the kids - they will do all the work.

Maybe for the first week or so, but most kids will slack off soon enough and the responsibility will fall on your laps. You are considered to be the owner because you are over the age of 21. If your kids do not walk Rex, then it is up to you that it gets done. As much as we talk to our kids about responsibility and as much as they agree to care for your new dog, we all know that sooner or later most kids will lose interest or get tired.

If you can positively answer these questions and concerns, then you may be ready to adopt Rex.
